Chrys CymriPriest by day, writer at odd times of the day and night, I live with a small green parrot called Tilly because the upkeep for a dragon is beyond my current budget. Plus I’m responsible for making good any flame damage to church property. I love ‘Doctor Who’, landscape photography, single malt whisky, and my job, in no particular order. When I’m not looking after a small parish church in the Midlands (England) I like to go on far flung adventures to places like Peru, New Zealand, the Arctic, and North Korea.

Sarah AshwoodDon’t believe all the hype: Sarah Ashwood isn’t really a gladiator, a Highlander, an expert fencer, a skilled horsewoman, an archer, a magic wielder, or a martial arts expert. That’s only in her mind. In real life, she’s a genuine Okie from Muskogee who holds a B.A. in English from American Military University, and is the author of the Sunset Lands Beyond fantasy trilogy, Amana, A Minstrel’s Musings, and more than 37 works published in a wide variety of anthologies, magazines, and webzines. She lives (mostly) quietly at home with her husband and three sons, where she tries to sneak in a daily workout or run to save her sanity.

Andy PeloquinI am, first and foremost, a storyteller and an artist--words are my palette. Fantasy is my genre of choice, and I love to explore the darker side of human nature through the filter of fantasy heroes, villains, and everything in between. I'm also a freelance writer, a book lover, and a guy who just loves to meet new people and spend hours talking about my fascination for the worlds I encounter in the pages of fantasy novels. Fantasy provides us with an escape, a way to forget about our mundane problems and step into worlds where anything is possible. It transcends age, gender, religion, race, or lifestyle--it is our way of believing what cannot be, delving into the unknowable, and discovering hidden truths about ourselves and our world in a brand new way. Fiction at its very best!

Catherine (Meier) Spader is a first-generation German American raised on the history and lore of medieval Germany. Catherine is a registered nurse (RN) who specialized in emergency and trauma care for twenty years. She is also a medical writer and editor and has published over 1000 articles. Catherine feeds her inner Wulfhedinn by playing men’s ice hockey. She and her husband Craig enjoy prowling the wild forests and historic sites of Europe and the American West.
Raymond ChilenskyI've worn many hats in my 48 years on the Earth. There were many so-called medial jobs, a brief experiment with law enforcement, a long stint in private security, and a yet to be completed degree in political science. Through it all, however, I've been and storyteller and an artist. So, in the later third of my life, I decided to sit down and actually write the novel that's been bouncing around in my skull for years.

Ben KramerBen Kramer lives in Omaha, Nebraska with his wife, two children, and two dogs (One was sent across the bridge to await our reunion on the other side). In the time that he has between working and being a husband and father, he writes his short stories and books.
Born the second of three children into a military family, Ben Kramer grew up an Army Brat with plenty of company and sibling rivalry. He first began writing in grade school and continued writing on into his teen years. His first writing ventures were mostly childish poems and he did not even have an interest in epic fantasy till seventh grade. It was the works of Piers Anthony that opened the door for Ben to find his joy of the many worlds of fantasy to be found in books. From there on where ever he went you could be sure that a book was close to hand. Sadly, though he did attempt to write many stories of his own he never completed them. However, it was during his Junior year of High School that he began developing his world of Paratos. It is in this world which "Scars of Devotion" and his other short stories take place. After serving in the United States Air Force, separating with the rank of Staff Sergeant, Ben settled down in Omaha, Nebraska with his wife to raise a family. To date Ben Kramer has officially published one book "Scars of Devotion", and has five short stories series. Ben can also be found on Patreon at http://www.patreon.com/benkramer and http://www.facebook.com/wraithwriter. Charles FranklinI'm a teacher, father, and a husband who was looking for more from life. Although I just started writing in 2016, I have been a creative person my whole life. There is something deep inside of me that wants to create things. I went to design school and spent an incredible four years learning the process of building from my creativity. Years ago I wrote an essay that described myself as a "curious explorer of the world." I still believe that definition holds true, I want to learn things, to know things about other places and people and often find myself deep in a rabbit hole chasing an idea.
My professional background is in education, and I have been in education for the last eight years, including getting my masters degree in secondary education and teaching in public schools for four. I've also worked and taught in a few different university settings. My real passion is learning, and I can't stop myself from seeking out and learning new things. I think it comes back to creativity; it's hard to be creative in a silo. I live in Gretna Nebraska with my beautiful wife Jen and three wonderful daughters. My oldest daughter would be mad if I didn't also mention that we have three cats. My family consistently challenges me to grow, and I have learned so much more from them than they have learned from me. That in itself is the greatest blessing of all. Cheers! |
R.J. BatlaRJ Batla was born and raised in Texas. He enjoys spending time with his family, the outdoors, and of course reading! Science Fiction and Fantasy have always been a favorite of his, ever since he first picked up CS Lewis’ ‘Chronicles of Narnia’. Other authors he enjoys include Jim Butcher, Terry Brooks, and Jeffrey Archer. He’s excited to be on this journey as an author, and hopes you enjoy the world he’s created as much as he has enjoyed creating it!

NguyenA native of Sacramento, California, K.N. Nguyen began her early years participating in sports year round, studying biology and creating imaginary worlds to play in. After reading The Chronicles of Narnia in fourth grade, her mind was opened and new worlds were born. These stories tantalized her imagination and kindled a desire to begin writing. As the years passed, she started studying ancient mythology and reading more epic fantasies. After several failed attempts at writing a fantasy novel, she gave it up as a lost cause. It wasn’t until she started working at her office job that she felt the itch to begin writing again. Once taking up the pen, things seemed to click and the first of her Fallen trilogy was born. From this trilogy, she co-founded DragonScript, her own group dedicated to helping others achieve their writing goals, to help her realize her dream of building worlds. It is her hope to be able to inspire others to follow their dreams as did the authors who inspired her.
